For maximum enjoyment, purchase iris while still in bud stage – and enjoy their "blooming" process. This will also give you a longer vase life to enjoy the flowers.

Iris mix well with other spring flowers including tulips, acacia, hyacinths, anemones and daisies.

For an unusual centerpiece, select a series of glass vases from your collection and randomly place the flowers at different heights.

Don’t discard the wonderful foliage that grows on the iris stem. It can add dimension to the flowers.

The three-dimensional, architectural form of the iris blossom lends itself to being used in large groupings at the same stem length.

Combine orange Asiatic lilies with deep blue iris to see the magical force of a complementary color harmony.

 

Flower Care

 

The end-user life span of the blooms is 2-6 days, depending on the cultivars and species.

Replace water in vase every 2-3 days to avoid stem clogging.
