Freesia - The Fragrant Wedding Blossom

At Home

Cluster freesia in a cone-shaped vase to enjoy their form and fragrance.
A single stem of freesia is a delicate addition to a breakfast tray for breakfast in bed!
Freesia are beautiful blossoms for wedding bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres.
Freesia are also a wonderful potted plant and are also ideal as part of an English garden basket of blooming plants.
The most wonderful part of a freesia stem is the side bud or "lateral" which often grows on the same stem as the blossom. They can be removed from the stem, re-cut and placed in the arrangement to repeat the flower’s form.

Flower Care

Replace water in vase every 3-4 days to avoid stem clogging.
The end-user life span of the blooms is 7-10 days, depending on the cultivars.
