Freesia - The Fragrant Wedding Blossom
At Home
-
- Cluster freesia in a cone-shaped vase to enjoy their form
and fragrance.
- A single stem of freesia is a delicate addition to a
breakfast tray for breakfast in bed!
- Freesia are beautiful blossoms for wedding bouquets,
corsages and boutonnieres.
- Freesia are also a wonderful potted plant and are also
ideal as part of an English garden basket of blooming plants.
- The most wonderful part of a freesia stem is the side bud
or "lateral" which often grows on the same stem as the blossom.
They can be removed from the stem, re-cut and placed in the arrangement to
repeat the flower’s form.
-
- Flower Care
-
- Replace water in vase every 3-4 days to avoid stem
clogging.
- The end-user life span of the blooms is 7-10 days,
depending on the cultivars.
